Rushford, MN lost one of its two ambulances in the southern Minnesota flooding last week. The ambulance was soaked with 4-5 feet of water and raw sewage for 36 hours. It was a total loss. When Lakeview Hospital officials heard the news, they quickly decided to donate one of their ambulances to Rushford Community Ambulance Service. Lakeview Hospital had recently purchased a new ambulance and was looking into several options for their old ambulance at the time. “We’re glad we could help out a community in need,” stated Lakeview Hospital EMS director, Jon Muller. Muller delivered the ambulance to a grateful Rushford on Saturday morning.
